Ministry Leaders
Senior Pastor - Blake Anderson
Senior and Founding Pastor, Blake Anderson, came from a denominational background serving churches. He found through that experience that people were searching for authentic Christianity, not the traditions of man or the hypocrisy of the church. They wanted to see Jesus at work in their community. Constantly he would feel conviction of the Holy Spirit telling him that things had to be different to fully serve Christ and not the will of man. It took seeing the failures of denominations to lead Pastor Blake down a path to start Grace Chapel.
As a Pastor, he stands firm on the Word of God and shows people what authentic Christian lives look like. It is not a path of perfection, but a heart that is only focused on Jesus as not just Savior, but Lord. It looks like authenticity and not self-elevation. Christ calls us to serve and not to be served. That looks like going out beyond the walls of our church and reaching those in need of the mercy and grace first shown to us.
Music Minister - Dave Kendall
David Kendall grew up singing gospel music across Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. A seasoned pastor, worship leader, and certified DISC Behavioral Expert, he combines a lifelong passion for music and ministry with deep insight into leadership and organizational growth.
Associate Minister - Jacob McCullough
Jacob was born and raised in Giddings, Texas. He hasn’t always lived a life with Christ and has experienced many trials and tribulations, most of which he put himself through. Once Jesus pulled him from the darkness, though, he has not stopped seeking to glorify, honor, and worship Him in all that he does. Now a father of 6 and husband to a lovely and beautiful wife, he strives to show people the Jesus he knows and what God can do in their life, too.
Associate Minister - Samuel Harville
Samuel is a follower of Jesus who seeks to honor Christ in every part of his life. He is a devoted husband to his wife and enjoys using his gifts as a musician to serve others. During the week, Samuel works as a CNC machinist, where he continues to hone his trade with care and diligence. Whether at home, at work, or in worship, his desire is to walk faithfully on the narrow path and point others toward Christ.
Church Staff
Administrative Assistant - Sara DeGerolami
Sara grew up in California, but Texas has been home for more than a decade. She is a wife and a mama to two sweet (and busy) girls, Ryleigh and Kennedi. After 15 years in the insurance industry, Sara felt God calling her into something new. She was introduced to Pastor Blake, and through that connection, the Lord made it clear He had bigger plans for her. Sara could not be more excited to be part of the Grace Chapel family and can’t wait to see what Jesus has in store.
Administrative Assistant - Alyssa McCullough
Alyssa and her husband, Jacob, are the proud parents of 6 beautiful children. In all that she does, Alyssa strives to shine the light of Christ and to be an example of His love to others. She often notes that the Lord has done much to prepare her for each evolving chapter of life. As we embark on a new chapter here at Grace Chapel, Alyssa is excited to see how the Lord will use her gifts here and in the Bastrop community.
Facilities Manager - Jason Garberg
